- Mzansi has seen its fair share of beautiful weddings despite the nationwide lockdown that started in March
- While some people opted for simple and elegant ceremonies and others went all-out, all of them were equally beautiful though
- Briefly.co.za has compiled a list of the most beautiful traditional weddings that took place this year in Mzansi
This year has proven that nothing can stop those who are determined - and many people seem to have been very determined to say 'I do' despite the nationwide lockdown that saw many plans being brought to a halt.
While some Mzansi couples decided to have simple and sweet weddings, others decided to go all-out in making sure their ceremonies were the places to be. Each wedding in its own right was a beautiful one.
What makes Mzansi weddings even more special are the beautiful meanings and symbols behind the colourful attire locals wear during their traditional wedding ceremonies to represent every different culture and its unique values.
Locals have also loved all the weddings, often reacting to the many different posts with hearts and smiles also sharing their thoughts on the different clothes each couple wore to celebrate their special occasions.
Below are five of the most beautiful traditional weddings had in Mzansi this year (in no particular order).
