Tumi Molekane, best known as Stogie T has just won the award for being the best lyricist in the Mzansi hop-hop game. Stogie T shared the lovely news on his social media accounts and he did some bragging of his own to cement his win.

Stogie T has been in the game for the last two decades but that has not slowed him down. He aims to deliver bangers each and every year and 2020 was no different.

The rapper had put his music on hold for a while but eventually released a project titled The Empire Of Sheep. During the harsher levels of lockdown, he did a freestyle that showcased just how good his lyricism is.

Stogie T was nominated along with Landmarq, Hymphatic Thabz, Ginger Trill and PDotO in the category of Lyricist Of The Year at the SA Hip Hop Awards this year.

The rapper took to Instagram to share that he had won the award with his fans.

He wrote on the photo sharing app: "Just won LYRICIST OF YEAR at South African Hip Hop Awards."

Congratulations to Stogie T for breaking boundaries and remaining timeless in an everchanging musical landscape.
