- The account belonging to someone alleging to be the girlfriend of Motjeka Modisha is fake
- Social media users have been spreading the word online that the account used to send the tweets has been deactivated
- A user by the name of @anini-tee had posted some startling messages claiming to be Madisha's girlfriend
Earlier today Twitter exploded with tweets allegedly coming from Mamelodi Sundowns player Motjeka Modisha, which contained some startling information.
Tragedy struck in the early hours of Saturday morning when Mamelodi Sundowns player Motjeka Modisha died in a horrific car accident.
It has since come to light that the account used has been deleted and apparently it did not being to the soccer player's girlfriend but was used by someone to gain influence from the event.
Briefly.co.za looked into the news of the story which had tweets which read:
"You promised me Forever ??????"
"How do I recover from loosing my FIRST love! Baby you taught me love! ???? ahhh maaaan."
These messages came from an account belonging to @anini_tee, which is no longer active on Twitter.
An Instagram user )@iam_anita5) who was tagged in Madhisha's official Instagram account has posted on her Instagram page, asking people to report the Twitter account @anini-tee.
She features in many of Madisha's posts on Instagram, she makes it clear that she does not have a Twitter account and she did not post those messages.
Apparently, it is a fake account and people are not happy about it.

Earlier, Briefly.co.za reported that the family of late Mamelodi Sundowns player Motjeka Madisha have requested privacy since his passing. According to a recent Twitter thread by Sundowns, Madisha's family had met with pathologists to establish if the person who had passed away in the horrific crash is indeed their son.
The following tweet by Masandawana stated that the Madisha family had requested privacy while the relevant protocols are being followed during this trying time of uncertainty.
The club stated that they would follow up with whatever results come through from the DNA tests. The tweet went on to say that the necessary authorities with relevant expertise are also attempting to identify the driver of the car.
In other news, soccer fans started #PostponeSundownsMatch online to honour Madisha. This is due to the fact that Mamelodi Sundowns will be taking on TS Galaxy at Loftus Versfeld tonight, 15 December.
Sundowns tried their best to have the match postponed to honour the late Madisha and for their players to have time to mourn but were reportedly denied by the PSL. Fans have now taken to social media to express their anger and frustration.
#PostponeSundownsMatch has been trending since the early hours of this morning as fans tag the PSL's official Twitter account in an attempt to make a difference and honour the young defender.
