Thando Thabethe took to Twitter to share how grateful she was for the positive reviews Mzansi has been giving How To Ruin Christmas: The Wedding, the Netflix special she is has a part in.

The actress posted a tweet in which she expressed gratitude to all those who have watched and reported back on the 3-part special.

Thando wrote in her tweet that she hadn't even gotten to see the finished project yet but was on her way to. She posted:

"Heading back from set. Haven’t gotten to see #HowToRuinChristmas yet...the reviews are just soooo humbling. I’m getting emotional. Thank you from the bottom of hearts. I’m so so so very excited to go binge now."

The South African movie is about a family gathering for Christmas and a wedding when some chaos ensues. The trailer provided some insight into the story and Mzansi took to comments sections to voice their opinions.

Some online users thought that the trailer looked like a lot of fun and were excited for a movie about a genuine South African Christmas in the sun. Others felt like the idea and concept had been done before and that they weren't very keen.
