Akshay Ruparelia, a 19-year-old teenager from Harrow, North London, decided to start his own real estate company while he was in school. The company soared and in just a year in motion, it is worth just over $15 million.

While most teens were hanging out with friends or goofing around, Akshay Ruparelia was wisely negotiating huge property deals from his cellphone. To manage juggling school and work, he hired a call centre service to answer his business line during school hours.

But that’s not all Akshay was juggling. Both his mom and dad are deaf and he has been looking after them from a young age. Despite his millions, Akshay still stays at his childhood home to care for his sister and deaf parents. He believes that this responsibility has equipped him with the tools he needed to achieve his success.

"When it's something you've lived with, and it's so ingrained, it's given me the resilience and bravery to do something like setting up a business."

People all over the world have been shocked by Akshay’s selflessness and unconditional love for his parents. He believes so strongly in the love and truthfulness of his mum, that he puts a lot of trust into the mothers who work for him.

“Quite rightly people trust mums. Every mum who works for me will be honest and tell the truth. It is important. For the majority of people selling their home it is the biggest financial transaction of their lives.”

Akshay pays himself an average salary of $1,300 a month and does not even own a car. He does not believe in wasting money and is grateful for the life he lived as he believes that he would never have gotten where he is today, if he lived any other way. The humbleness of this young man is a true example to all.
