- In the tweet, Mosimane explains that he is currently waiting to hear from the doctors on how he should move forward

- The thank you message comes after Mosimane revealed earlier that he had tested positive for the coronavirus

Pitso Mosimane has headed online to thank his concerned fans for all of their well wishes while he recovers from his Covid-19 diagnoses. Taking to Twitter, Mosimane updated his followers that he had taken x-rays.

He also says that he is waiting to hear from the doctors as to how he should continue treating the signs and symptoms of the virus. He ended off the tweet by saying that by God's will he will be back to normal soon.

"Evening everybody just went for X-rays and will get the advice from the Doctors tomorrow. Thanks for all the good wishes. Inshallah,I will be back soon," he wrote.

His fans responded to the tweet by saying:

Briefly.co.za previously reported that Egypt's Al Ahly have officially confirmed that SA coach Pitso Mosimane has tested positive for the coronavirus.

In a statement issued by the club on Wednesday, the team commented on the situation:

"Al Ahly's head coach Pitso Mosimane tested positive for COVID-19. Mosimane will follow the Ministry of Health’s protocol for COVID-19 and will be self-isolated at home."

The 56-year-old coach managed to end Ahly's 7-year wait for the CAF Champions League and led the team to victory just a few short months after joining their ranks.
