In a snippet of a sermon that was sighted on the YouTube channel of Kweku Zurek, the bishop indicated that the purpose of man on earth is to make the work of God progress.

He recounted, as part of creating a practical scenario for the message, how he used to be engaged in an act of betting back in the day.

At this point, the renowned bishop of the formerly known Lighthouse Chapel International paused to caution the youth in his congregation about betting.

According to him, betting makes people end up in poverty and it is only a person who wants to be poor that should continue engaging in it.
