Influencer accused of faking own kidnapping as #Nomfundo trends

Nomfundo Radebe (@NOMFEEZUS on Twitter) is an influencer who is currently trending on the social networking site. Nomfundo is being accused by many South Africans of faking her own kidnapping.

Nomfundo has deleted a series of tweets where she asks for help and uploads the number of a man by the name of Andrew. SAns were concerned for her safety and believed that the number she shared was the number of her kidnapper.

It turns out, Andrew was a friend of hers. Many aspects of Nomfundo's alleged kidnapping aren't making sense when added together. SAns want her to be punished for allegedly faking her own kidnapping.

Nomfundo shared a post on Twitter explaining that she shared Andrew's cellphone number online as he was the only person she knew in Cape Town. Nomfundo added that her mother was unaware that she was in Cape Town and her friends were on a flight to Durban.

She followed up the explanation post with this:
