Elliot Page recently came out as transgender and received a ton of support from his fans all over the world. The actor was Ellen Page before and decided to take the plunge by finally living his truth.
"From the bottom of my heart, thank you. Your love and support has been the greatest gift," wrote Page in an Instagram post.
Earlier this month, the actor took to Instagram to share with his followers that he uses the pronouns "he" and "they". When Elliot came out, he said that he was lucky to be writing the post.
"I feel overwhelming gratitude for the incredible people who have supported me along this journey. I can't begin to express how remarkable it feels to finally love who I am enough to pursue my authentic self," said Elliot.
Social media users showed even more support to Elliot and took to the comments section in the post to show him some more love:

Elliot, star of films like Juno and Inception, recently came out to the world via social media and the South African star applauded his courage to live as his authentic self.
Thembisa sent love to Elliot in her tweet as she hoped he saw more success in his career and that he was afforded respect after revealing his truth.
