Unathi Nkayi recently sat down with power couple Zakes and his wife Nandi Madida. The entertainment couple appeared on the first episode of the three-part Festive Get-Together in The Life Artois TV special on 1Magic recently.
In episode one of the show Zakes and his wife Nandi, who're both musicians, set the tone for the show, welcoming viewers into their lives by talking about their upbringings, how they met and how they continue to nurture their relationship, even with the help of couple’s therapy.
Episode two took viewers behind the scenes of the perfect social media world of friends Kefilwe Mabote and Sarah Langa, and had viewers deeply connect with their respective stories. Kefilwe confessed to not always having looked the way she does now and how she reinvented herself from very humble beginnings.
The series finale brought close friends Black Coffee and Euphonik together and they spoke about life, friendship, social media pressures and brotherhood.
"The winning formula of the show centered on bringing together close friends and family by curating an intimate, restaurant-styled meal at home, creating an opportunity for guests to reconnect and reflect on their life’s journeys as well as provide some exclusive reveals & peeks into their private lives," said Nomsa Philiso, the Director of Local Entertainment Channels at M-Net.
Philiso added that these stories resonated strongly with their viewers and following a high demand they will be bringing Festive Get-Together in The Life Artois to Mzansi Magic, DStv channel 161 on 21 and 28 December and 4 January, 2021.
