- The EFF's Mbuyiseni Ndlozi has recently taken to Twitter to declare that he does not need to defend his qualification
- This comes after Twitter users questioned the EFF member's PhD in political science which he obtained from Wits
- While a few sided with Ndlozi many others continued to state that the qualification was both useless and easy to obtain
The EFF's Mbuyiseni Ndlozi has allowed certain Twitter users to get under his skin. Taking to his Twitter page, the young EFF member decided to put Twitter users in their place who questioned the worth of his qualification.
A clearly agitated Ndlozi, who holds a PhD in Political Science, has said in a tweet that he did not need to defend his qualification which he had obtained from the University of Witswatersrand that is based in Braamfontein, Johannesburg.
"The wisdom in attaining a PhD is that I don’t have to defend its credibility. The university that awarded it is responsible for that! The only thing I have to defend are the ideas in the “actual” thesis. None of which have ever been questioned on these shallow Twitter streets!," he tweeted.
Twitter users had this to say about the tweet:
"PhD in political science is not even enough to wipe my arse...I remember at university when people couldn't get into any other facility they would go register for political science....dont come throwing that shit here."
"Lol funny enough he can’t actually do anything with that Political Science PhD except work for the EFF and government ... if he had to go look for work today, now. Nobody will employ him. He would have to teach maybe, like really maybe. Extremely maybe he may get the job."
"Leave these trolls for us wena commissar, we shall thoroughly deal with them. You don't even have to go to the extent of responding to them as far as your qualifications are concerned, they must go to WITS if they have a problem."
Briefly.co.za also reported that the EFF's Mbuyiseni Ndlozi recently took to Twitter to celebrate the graduation of a young South African EFF supporter, Olwethu. According to the post, the same young man had once been criticized for openly supporting the party while he was still in high school.
The post features pictures of the student alongside other students holding up a poster that reads "EFF our last hope of getting the land back." The caption also explains that the then high school student was chastised for his political views.
"This morning I received news from sis Ntsiki that her son, Yamkela Mbabama has completed his BCom Finance Degree with Wits and will do honours next year Olwethu, who is in UKZN will complete next year, I’m overjoyed! Back in 2017, these boys were chastised for this picture!," wrote Ndlozi.
