According to Daily Voice, reported that Ashley can barely drive a car, but somehow managed to drive the bus at night. IOL reported that the 24-year-old said residents have also rallied to raise money for him and his family.

Briefly.co.za previously reported on Ashley after his good deed made headlines. Ashley recently took things into his own hands after commuters were left stranded following a robbery that took place on a Golden Arrow bus in Hanover, Cape Town last week.

According to reports, the commuters were aboard the bus when suddenly three men decided to rob them, starting with the brave 24-year-old. After spotting the commotion, the frightened bus driver fled the scene, leaving the commuters stranded aboard the bus.

This is when the fearless young Ashley decided to remedy the situation and get behind the wheel to drive the 30-40 relieved people to their specific destinations around the Cape Town area. IOL reports that Europa had lied to the passengers by saying that he had prior experience with bus driving, despite having never driven one before in order to help them feel at ease.
