- Somizi recently celebrated his 48th birthday but drama ensued
- This drama comes after fans noticed that Vusi Nova was getting more attention for his efforts
- Social media users then compared the cakes both Vusi and Somizi’s husband Mohale gave to him
Somizi recently celebrated his 48th birthday but the occasion was marred by what many are suspecting is a rocky marriage. Of course this theory is based on nothing but y’all on social media, but it was enough to gain traction and trend.
Some fans believe that Somizi and Mohale’s relationship is on the rocks due to his super close friendship with Vusi Nova. The theory has gained so much ground that people even compared the way Vusi and Mohale celebrated Somizi on his birthday.
Both men made a cake for the Idols SA star and social media users compared both cakes. Vusi’s cake was a simple cream and gold creation with beautiful flowers. Mohale went the extravagant route by making a cake which was laden with all of Somizi’s favourite things, including his cookbook and various luxury labels.
Weighing in on both cakes, many social media users agreed that Vusi’s one looked more sincere.
Twitter user 2slySanele said:
"Vusi...simple gorgeous cake not that billboard"
"I see goldigging tendencies on that 2nd frame"
"I see Vusi Nova being the second wife next year and Mzansi magic doing a reality show on them. Should I go deeper??"
"I'm with Mohale. I really don't like what is happening to him. You should never compete with anyone for when coming to your spouse"
Meanwhile Briefly.co.za previously reported that Somizi Mhlongo and his husband Mohale Motaung are usually in the Mzansi headlines for different reasons but this time, Twitter investigators decided to step in.
Mzansi Twitter user @MrHandsome_ZA made an observation and took to the timeline to share.
@MrHandsomeZA posted screenshots of tweets from both Somizi and Mohale, analysing them both and asking questions. "Somizi has moved on," wrote the Twitter user. "His only fear of divorcing Mohale is losing some of his assets since they married in community of property."
