The Queen is set to write off an actor out of the show after he allegedly made inappropriate advances on his colleagues.
Entertainment commentator Phil Mphela took to Twitter on Wednesday, 23 December to share that the popular soapie is about to drop the male character. Phil welcomed the step taken by Ferguson Films against the unnamed actor. He wrote:
"WORD IS: The Queen to drop actor. The murmur is that Mzansi Magic telenovela will be writing (or has written) an actor out of the show following some inappropriate advances on his colleagues. This is a welcomed & encouraging step taken by Ferguson Films. Change the culture!"
The viewers of the show produced by power couple, Shona and Connie Ferguson, have shared mixed reactions to Phil's post. Check out some of their comments below:
"I haven't watched that show since they killed of Jerry Maake but kudos to them for standing up and doing something."
"Mhm I wonder who is it..."
"Okay but the Fergusons are comfortable with employing such doti. The man who abused the lady who plays Celia stays on their payroll and the guy who plays Thato's dad."
"I prefer blogs to rather wait for the story to be fully developed before publicising it, cos now we have to guess the unnamed actor."
"Who could it possibly be?"
In other entertainment news, Briefly.co.za reported that Connie Ferguson took to social media recently to show off her dance moves. The media mogul posted a video of herself and the crew of The Queen having some fun on the set of the telenovela. They were getting down to the sounds of Amapiano.
In the clip the media mogul posted on Instagram, Connie is doing the trending Mzansi dance move involving putting a glass or bottle on top of your head while you bust a move. The star captioned her post:
"It’s been a tough year and we are all exhausted! But somehow the #thequeenmzansi cast and crew manage to maintain high spirits and make the set a fun and happy place for all! And keeping me young and on my toes while at it! Happy Sunday Y’All!"
The Ferguson Film boss' fans took to her comment section to praise her for being a great boss.
