Nandos has done it again, managed to make Mznasi laugh back the tears as 2020 draws to a close. The fast-food chain has told 2020 to 'tsek in a hilarious series of videos posted on social media.

The video in question uses the popular "Karen" meme from 2020 which makes fun of over-entitled women or men (Ken's) who are usually white who complain over everything.

The video shows a group of women and one man, the women are sporting the official "Karen" haircut which is a short bob style cut.

Earlier, Briefly.co.za reported that more often than not, when it comes to reporting on internet interactions, it ends up being about arguments or insults. That is why it's so refreshing when something hilarious or heartwarming happens on a platform like Twitter.

Nando's is no stranger to a joke, and Mzansi has them to thank for their latest funny moment as they tweeted a response to Cassper Nyovest.

Cass had previously posted a tweet that asked fans to rank their #CassperTopTen, which was their favourite songs from all his work. Nando's decided that this was the perfect time to jump into the conversation and reply to the tweet.

In other news, our favourite clap-back/restaurant business is at it again. This time they may just have caught a little competition and may be a tad bit worried. A young South African lady, Taja Wanita Samuels recently shared her pretty good attempt at making their famous peri-peri chicken livers.

Taking to Twitter - the one place you're guaranteed to get a response from the witty Nandos marketing team, @Mogomotsi_MoreG shared the video, asking Nandos if the recipe and execution of the dish were close enough.

While many Twitter users were left with their mouths watering at the homemade peri livers, Nandos shared a rather haughty response with the Twitter user, saying, "If only YOU can try it out, o tla re botsa after (you can tell us later.)"
