3 SA celebs celebrating Christmas: From Somizi to Basetsana Kumalo

Millions of people around the globe celebrate this day commemorating the birth of Jesus Christ. Some of our celebs also celebrate Xmas. The Mzansi entertainers have decorated their houses for Christmas and have prepared fancy meals for their loved ones.
The stars have also taken to social media and penned sweet Merry Christmas messages for their fans while others chose to sing for their followers. Briefly.co.za takes a look at three Mzansi stars who are celebrating Christmas.
1. Somizi Mhlongo-Motaung
The flamboyant media personality took to Instagram and shared a video of himself and his hubby Mohale enjoying a glass of champagne early on 25 December. Somizi's house was also beautifully decorated for Christmas. He also wished his fans a Merry Xmas. The star captioned his video:
"From our family to yoz."
2. Hungani Ndlovu
The talented actor and his actress wife Stephanie took to Instagram and shared a video of both of them belting out a Christmas tune. They also wished their fans a happy and merry Christmas. Hungani captioned his post:
"We wish you a Merry Merry Christmas. Tune into @thendlovusuncut at 11:30am to see our Christmas Special!! May your day be filled with lots of love and joy! Jesus loves you."
3. Basetsana Kumalo
The media mogul also shared a clip of herself preparing a delicious Christmas dinner for her family. It was clear to see from the video that Bassie has been looking forward to this day. The celebrity businesswoman captioned her post:
"On Christmas Eve... we do the things that must be done! We marinate, we tenderize, we make merry, because we are merry! It’s the 25th of December Bazalwane... Merry Christmas!"
In other entertainment news, Briefly.co.za reported that Sjava has taken o social media to wish his mother a happy birthday. The award-winning hip-hop singer penned a beautiful post in isiZulu to his mom.

The Umama hitmaker shared that his mom carried him for nine months in her womb therefore he will provide anything she asks for. The musician expressed that no one will take his mother's place in his life and that she's will forever be his queen. The artist shared a snap of just the two of them and wrote:
"Mama wangithwala 9 months esiswini. Konke okudingayo wena uyokucela kimi. Akekho oyothatha indawo yakho kimi. Uyohlezi uyindlovukazi kimi. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY MOTHER."
Sjava's fans took to his comment section to help him wish his mother a happy birthday.
