A Nigerian couple has finally welcomed a set of twins after 27 years of being without a child. Dr Mike and Dr Modupe Obiora got married on 11 December 1993, and had been praying to conceive ever since.
According to Doctor Modupe, she and her husband held on to God when people thought there was no possibility of conceiving. She expressed gratitude to God for showing up for her and her husband and proving that there is nothing impossible for Him, Yabaleft reports.
Dr Modupe also thanked everyone that remembered her in prayer, adding that the result of their prayers is the set of twins God has blessed her with.
According to the new mum, her mother-in-law and sisters-in-law were always praying for her during the trying times. She said her in-laws strengthened her faith.
In other news about twins, Briefly.co.za recently reported on twins marking their birthday with a beautiful photoshoot. @OloladeAjani has celebrated her birthday and twin sister's on Tuesday, 22 December.
To mark the special day, the pretty twins wore beautiful hair as they took amazing photos with bright smiles. Their shots do not only show how beautiful they look, they also reflect twins who are living their lives happily with ease. You would wish you had twins as children.
They used two separate clothes to achieve photos that look so simple and yet elegant in a very cute way. As at the time of writing this report, their photos have gathered over 10,000 likes with thousands of comments.
Below are some of the reactions their photos got:
"Happy birthday. You two look beautiful. Wishing you two all the very best in life."
"May you both lives be filled with significant moments of love and happiness with the people that are closest to your hearts. Happy birthday beautiful souls."
