Cassper Nyovest has been dragged by social media users who felt that his hogs were responsible for the Covid-19 spike. After the president addressed the nation and announced level 3 lockdown on Monday evening, Cass took to Twitter to air his concerns.

He shared that perhaps people were not taking the regulations seriously this leading to the increasing cases. Social media users didn’t take kindly to his opinion.

Some went as far as reminding him that he was hosting parties a few days prior.

Responding to the criticism, Cass said:

“My tweet literally says WE need to start thinking about how we moving. Kante what do you guys read? I am seeing fault in myself.
“This is why I don't like debating on Twitter. You can never be right and people don't read to understand but rather read to respond”

Meanwhile Briefly.co.za previously reported that Cassper Nyovest used to call himself "sexy chubby n*gga" when he was not into gym and had no six-pack to show off a few years back. The rapper recently took to social media to share that "big boy Nyovie" is making a comeback this summer.

The Amademoni hitmaker had seemingly been eating a lot while the country was still on the stricter levels of the Covid-19 lockdown. Mufasa shared a snap of himself looking chubby on both his Instagram and Twitter accounts. In the pic, it's clear to see that he has gained some weight. Cass captioned his pic on Instagram:

The star also shared on Twitter that he'll be rocking his chubby version during the festive season. He's definitely embracing his new body.

Cass dropped his chart-topping album titled Any Minute Now a few weeks ago. He's also getting ready to perform some of his hits live for his fans in the sunny festive season.

Cassper's fans have shared that they were loving the bigger Cassper. Some of his "chubby" fans told him that he's not loyal to them.
