In other inspiring Briefly.co.za news, a young unemployed woman recently shared how planting potatoes has helped lift her out of a dark place. According to the post that was made by Mbilana Entle Mbalentle on Facebook's ImStaying, she lost her job due to Covid-19.
"#ImStaying because when I lost my job due to Covid-19 I had to move back home to Peddie. I was hurt. So my dad asked me why don't I do what am good at, - farming. Even though I never studied it.
"I took my last money went bought a packet of potatoes I planted them with no equipment but I managed. Yesterday I harvested my potatoes. It was the best feeling. Me being unemployed has reminded me of my gift. #ImStaying A proud Village girl," she wrote proudly.
