- Diddy, through his foundation, partnered with others and gave out a grant to pay for rent for over 175 families in Miami

Being rich and influential is not just that but also how you impact the community surrounding you. This, not many celebrities have not been able to master save for a few who have really gone out of their way to help others in time of need.

Rapper and business mogul, Sean Diddy Combs known to many as "P Diddy" recently proved for the umpteenth time that he has a big heart.

The mogul decided to change the lives of many Florida residents who may have been at risk of losing their homes.

Briefly.co.za has learnt that Diddy, on Tuesday 29 December, while at an event dubbed House of Wings, announced his Sean Combs Foundation will be giving a grant to a local organization that will help 175 families in the area to pay rent during the pandemic.

In addition, the Grammy-winning artist also provided monetary assistance through gift cards and direct cash.

He also donated much-needed essentials including personal hygiene products.

That is not all, the star also partnered with Teens Exercising Extraordinary Success (TEES) an organisation that works to encourage young people to have a productive lifestyle that will ultimately lead them to become self-sufficient shareholders in the economy.

This happens by giving the young people a secure family environment to hopefully prevent them from succumbing to negative peer pressure.

In April, Diddy brought together his international celebrity friends for his virtual dance-a-thon and raised more than R45 800 000 in donations.

The money went to Direct Relief, a non-profit humanitarian organisation that supplies medical equipment to communities affected by poverty. The funds, raised by Diddy and his friends were set to specifically contribute towards Direct Relief's efforts to help those impacted by the novel coronavirus health crisis.

Briefly.co.za recently reported on Diddy after he jammed to Kabza De Small's hit song Mapiano Blues. The US rapper-turned-businessman shared a video of himself jamming to Kabza De Small's track titled Mapiano Blues.

The Been Around The World hitmaker was enjoying the sea breeze in a yacht when he took to Instagram to wish his followers from across the globe happy holidays. He even tagged Kabza De Small in his post. Diddy captioned the clip:

"I hope you can feel the LOVE I'm sending to you!!!!! HAPPY HOLIDAYS."
