Rasta has shown off his latest work after giving Big Zulu his best shot on New Year's.

The South African artist took to social media to give Mzansi a glimpse at the artwork, captioning it:

"2020 is the year siyenza imali eningi, wallets zethu zequmbe, nina nithini."

This time around Mzansi was certain that the art actually did resemble a local celebrity, Rasta himself.

Earlier, Briefly.co.za reported that Khanyi Mbau recently posted her reaction to receiving a portrait of herself done by Rasta The Artist.

The celebrity shared footage of the Mzansi Kwaito House Music Awards and the moment that Rasta revealed the artwork.

Khanyi could not contain her excitement at seeing the picture and lets out some squeals of delight in the moment.

Rasta is well-known for his portraits of famous people and has made headlines for his work depicting actors and politicians.

Khanyi captioned the video with an excited:

"Guys RASTA drew me!!!!!"

The video shows Rasta presenting an excited Khanyi with the picture and the two then embrace as Khanyi thanks the artist for his work.

The footage ends with the pair posing for the cameras and Khanyi grinning from ear to ear as she holds her portrait.
