South African gospel giant Sipho Makhabane has won his battle against the dreaded Covid-19. Speaking during a recent interview, the gospel star spoke about how he had overcome Covid-19 by adhering to all the rules and safety regulations.

According to Big Fish, as he is affectionately referred to by his many adoring fans, he suspects that he may have contracted the virus while he was performing at various churches in Durban over the festive season.

Soon thereafter he started feeling all of the usual Covid-19 symptoms which drove him to get tested, and much to his dismay the test came out positive, sending him into an immediate self-quarantine.

SowetanLive reports that Big Fish spent most of his days isolated while missing important events such as a family wedding and Christmas time with loved ones. In the article, he explains that he also drank eucalyptus oil and ginger, garlic and lemon concoctions which he adds worked wonders for him.

Big Fish ends of the interview by encouraging people to take Covid-19 seriously, adding that he was shocked that people have still been taking it so lightly despite the vast coverage of the damage done by Covid-19 reported by various publications.

Briefly.co.za earlier reported that Covid-19 has claimed another victim. This time, it was Zodwa Wabantu's aunt who passed away due to the virus.

The star shared the tragic news to social media and announced to her followers that Covid-19 was very real and that life could end in an instant. Zodwa posted video footage of herself crying and explained that her tears were because she was grieving the loss of her aunt.

Zodwa wrote in a caption alongside her post that her aunt had passed and urged her followers to remember how short life is and how deadly Covid-19 has been as it cruelly continues to take people away from those who love them.
