It now turns out that Ayanda placed more value in the ring than in Thandazile. Speaking to Daily Sun, Thandazile said her husband also took her car when he left with his belongings.

To make matters worse, she later learned that he is with his nyatsi (mistress).

Thandazile has accepted that it's over between her and Ayanda. However, she insists that she wants her ring and car back:

I bought that car, but since we are married in community of property, it belongs to both of us. I know he was cheating on me, but he should have left my things and just left alone.

When Daily Sun contacted Ayanda, he said:

Whatever I left with is none of your business. I took what belonged to me. If she wants to talk to me, she must call me, not go through a newspaper.

It's unclear whether they have reached a resolution or not.
