While the activist in question is known only by his handle @NSwartbooi, his situation quickly went viral.

The man's crime was apparently to confront the Minister during a visit in Khayelitsha according to Axolile Notywala:

"This happened today when the Minister Sisulu visited the fire victims in Site C, Khayelitsha. @NSwartbooi has been in that community with the Khayelitsha every day since the fire. He says when his phone was taken he was threatened with arrest and they wanted him to open his phone."

Notywala questioned if the Minister's bodyguards are permitted to treat citizens in this manner:

"Are Ministers' bodyguards/personnel allowed to confiscated people's phones when said people are asking a Minister to account? The guy in the video (presumed to be Minister Sisulu's bodyguard) took @NSwartbooi's phone after asking the Minister to not make false promises as before."

During the confrontation over her alleged failures, Sisulu lashed out at the activist:

"No, no, you are lying. You are not going to tape me and talk nonsense. You are talking rubbish, just switch that off. Switch that off."

Notywala claimed that the Minister's bodyguard had attempted to get the activist into a car after confiscating his phone:

"@NSwartbooi was left shaken together with other members of the @khayelitshacan who were assisting that community. Apparently, the Ministers' bodyguard/s tried to get him in a car after taking his phone. As you can hear in the first video he claims intimidation."

Sisulu shared a video of herself playing soccer, in heels, with her family. She posted the clip on her Twitter page and captioned it:

"It’s match day at our house too. Please don’t mind the heels, I did say drip is forever."

The video gathered over 201 700 views and South Africans had different reactions. While many commented on the family fun others could not help but notice her luxury backyard.
