'I'm grateful': Lady shares how she met and married 'the most amazing man in the world'

A young lady from the North West province has narrated a heartwarming story of how she met and got married to her husband.

Nomagugu Patience Msimanga fell pregnant at the age of 19, Briefly.co.za gathered. Unfortunately, the father of her child left her to be a single mom soon afterwards.

Writing on Sowetanlive.co.za, Nomagugu said although it was a setback, life had to continue. She went back to school and soon started dating again.

Nomagugu said although she had a child, she didn't want to date a man who also had a child. She wrote:

After a couple of unsuccessful relationships, [of] which my previous one was the hardest, I met this guy [Zukile Siyazingca Nyatela] at [a] church conference. God knows it was definitely NOT love at first sight.
After a year or so of dating and breaking up, he proposed. Was rather surprised and shocked, in tears even. Didn't know much then but I knew I loved him and would definitely build a life with him.

Lobola negotiations followed a year later and a wedding date was set soon afterwards. Although their wedding had a few glitches, she expressed gratitude that it went well.

The couple also had a traditional wedding. Nomagugu said she experienced some nerves because she wasn't familiar with her husband's Xhosa traditions, but he and his family put her at ease.

She concluded:

I am grateful!! I am indeed a happy wife, married to the most amazing man in the world, my husband Zukile Nyatela!!
