The National Lottery operator Ithuba announced that a winning ticket worth R6.6 million was purchased at the petrol station in Barberton last week. The player bet a total of R20 on a quick pick.
The winning numbers are 2, 18, 28, 40, 45, 46 and the bonus ball 22. Ithuba said its winner service department was ready to process the claim and to provide optional emotional and financial counselling.

The manager of Task Motor Vehicles Desire van der Hoven said the thought that their machine had produced a millionaire have her goosebumps. She added that both she and the staff were glad they helped someone become a millionaire.
Ithuba offers the following services to any lotto player who wins more than R50 000 on the National Lottery:

• Trauma and emotional counselling.
The aim of this service is to help winners, who in many instances have never had more than a couple of thousand rand in their bank account at any one time, navigate the exciting and potentially overwhelming experience.
