On Friday AfriForum filed criminal charges against NPA boss Shaun Abrahams and called upon Ramaphosa to remove him from his post.
Briefly.co.za gathered the civil-rights organisation said Abrahams was unfit for the position of National Director of Public Prosecutions.
According to Monique Taute, the head of AfriForum's anti-corruption unit, the organisation requested that the new head of state sack Abrahams with immediate effect and appoint a new NDPP.
Taute said the new head should act without fear, favour or prejudice, eNCA reported.
Last year December, the North Gauteng High Court conclueded Abraham's appointment was illegitimate and should be disregarded.
In December, the North Gauteng High Court declared Abrahams' appointment unlawful and said it should be set aside.
Since then Abrahams and the NPA appealed the ruling. But, the DA also called on the new president to remove Abrahams from office.
