Ntsiki Mazwai believes that Covid 19 lockdowns won't stop soon

South African poet Ntsiki Mazwai took to Twitter to shatter many people's dreams. Mzansi has been under lockdown for almost a full year and was recently taken to Level 3 of lockdown to fight the second wave of the virus.

More deaths are being reported every day and the rate of infection is alarming. A number of South Africans are fed up with lockdown and are hoping for it to come to an end soon.

A glimmer of hope has been given since the government has been working on getting a vaccine to the country as soon as possible.

Ntsiki put an end to a number of Mzansi citizens' hopes for the lockdown to end soon.

"They not gonna stop with lockdowns. Brace yourselves," said Ntsiki.

A number of Mzansi social media users commented on Ntsiki's post:

@JayT_Mbango said: "Until we liberate ourselves, they won't stop anything at all."
@Lilsislondz commented: "China is up and running. SA saw this an opportunity to make people more dependent on grants from the government. A means to secure votes and dictatorship."
@ace_anele said: "They want to see us dead, retrenched or in jail for not wearing a mask."
@sammymanyosi commented: "It's a mandate from beyond Ramaphosa that he can do nothing against or else. The purpose of it is to collapse the national economy in order for us to be entirely dependent on the government and never resist a mandatory vaccination and the alterations of our lifestyle."

Briefly.co.za previously reported that Ntsiki Mazwai was accused of jealousy after her comments on Trevor Noah's home. Social media has recently been abuzz with videos and pictures of the Bel-Air mansion that South African comedian Trevor Noah has purchased.

Most online commenters have commented on the news of the purchase with messages of congratulations for Trevor, but Ntsiki Mazwai was one notable exception who did not.
