A G4S cash delivery vehicle was ambushed this morning on the N4, near The Orchards in Pretoria on Friday morning at around 08:50.
Tshwane police have launched a manhunt in search of the group of men who ambushed the G4S cash delivery van.
Breifly.co.za leant that the group of men were armed and used explosives were used to blow up the safe before they made off with an undisclosed amount of money.
"They started firing shots at the vehicle, especially at the tyres, until it lost control. They then ordered the security officers to get out of the van," police spokesperson Constable Matsobane Mabusela said.

The men were carrying rifles and go away in two Audis.
Fortunately no one was harmed in the incident. No arrests have been made as of yet.
