- It has been confirmed that Thembi Seete is expecting her first child at the age of 40.
- The confirmation followed weeks of speculation on her secretive pregnancy
- According to reports, Seete could not be happier and she is getting ready for her new role as a mommy
TshisaLIVE has confirmed that Thembi Seete is in fact pregnant. The rumours first started at an event where she was named the new face of Pond's Age Miracle range.
She wore a red Gert-Johan Coetzee dress which did almost a good enough job at hiding her baby bump, but some said her pregnant belly was visible.
"She tried to hide it but there was no way you could miss the bump at some points," one source said.
After the event, Seete told Drum magazine she would not be confirming or denying the rumours, adding in her culture a woman does not share information about the baby until it is born.
"The time will come when I am ready to share, but for now, let's just say 2018 is going to be an eventful year for me."
TimesLIVE reported people close to Seete told TshisaLIVE she was over the moon about expecting her first child, adding she was excited about the new journey.
Briefly.co.za learned she said she always wanted a baby and that she believes she is ready for motherhood.
"I'm calmer and every opportunity that's happening right now in my life is because I'm so peaceful. I'm so ready for it," she told Drum.
Seete went through a break-up last year October when she and her longtime fiance Bobo "Bo" Seritsane called it quits.
After the break-up, Seete said she did not want to talk about it because she is a private person. She did however confirm she met someone else before hinting at big news.
"A few months ago, I met someone. I have been dating and going on dates but I think there is something brewing, something amazing, that is going to come up with this one person."
