Citizens of the United States of America witnessed one of the largest jackpots in the history of the country as lottery players came out in their numbers on Tuesday, January 12, to play the game.
ABC News reported that the Mega Millions R9.5 ($625m) jackpot is the largest lottery prize in nearly two years.
The prize of the other national lottery game, Powerball, is R8.3bn($550m) and it would be played on the night of Wednesday, January 13.
The winning numbers in Tuesday night’s drawing of the Mega Millions game were: 12-14-26-28-33, Mega Ball: 09.
Nearly all the jackpot winners often opt to take the cash option.
