Hardworking SA cop drives long distance to return lost wallet to woman

- A South African woman recently shared the touching story about how a hardworking cop traveled a long distance to deliver her lost wallet

- According to the pot, her wallet was found by a good samaritan who handed it to the police who then returned it to her

A South African woman, Marizél Le Roux took to Facebook's ImStaying to share a touching post about a cop called Officer Eugene who is determined to make a difference in his community. According to the pot, officer Eugene drove a long distance to deliver her wallet which she had lost.

"On Saturday I lost my wallet with all my personal documents and cards. I forgot my wallet on my car while strapping in my girls. Needless to say, I drove off. Today I received a call from Officer Eugene. He said that an amazing lady found my wallet on the side of a freeway road and handed it in at her nearest traffic office.

"Officer Eugene then drove over 180km all together to PERSONALLY hand me my wallet. This is true evidence that we have hard-working and amazing officers in this country. Thank you to the lady, Irene (I have her details to personally thank her) and officer Eugene."

She then goes on to thank the honest lady who had took her wallet to the police station, ending off her post by adding that such acts of kindness are the reason she is staying. Stayers had this to say:
