Lady Flexes Veggies from Her Garden: "Never Hesitate to Start Small"

- Her inspiring post included a photo of herself smiling brightly as she holds some of the greens that were produced in her garden

- Many were left inspired to grow their own greens at home, taking to the comment section to thank her for the motivation

Many locals are taking the leap and going green - with vegetable gardens that is. One such local is a South African woman that has been very busy in her garden growing veggies that have finally started to sprout.

Taking to Facebook's ImStaying, Portia Mkatu shared a highly motivational post about making the decision to grow her own food. Her inspirational post includes a picture of her posing proudly with the fruits of her labour - some spinach and peppers.
