Musician Busiswa recently took to social media to complain about how robbers cloned her car number plates and have been using them to commit petty crimes around Joburg.

She blasted her tracking company for failing to provide her with a vehicle log so they could track the car’s activities. The media personality shared her plight on her personal Twitter account. She posted:

“Being an adult in Joburg is a fvcken fvckshit sometimes. My blessed errand car’s number plate is cloned, the cloners are doing PETTY crimes with the fake plate (not even, like, movie-type moves) & now I must answer. Yhuuu. ANDIDIKWE. @CartrackZA thanks for nothing”

Social media users weighed in on her unfortunate plight. Twitter user Mthura4449 said:

“It happened to many people in Jozi. An India man's car was cloned and he had to go to the traffic department many times... Been asked lot of questions like you did crime. Department they got lot of people doing crime. Government is silent about such issues.”

Meanwhile, Briefly.co.za previously reported that Busiswa recently slammed the City Of Johannesburg official Twitter account after they shared a post about illegal adverts. The account took to social media to encourage residents to remove illegal street ads.

The account posted a picture of law enforcement figures removing an ad which was placed on a street pole illegally. Their caption read:

“Remove that illegal advert. Community members are more than welcome to remove illegal adverts. #JoburgBylaws”

Busiswa was one the many people who were not impressed by the poster. She argued that people were unemployed and doing their best to make ends meet during the pandemic. She said:

“It’s a PANDEMIC & a LOCKDOWN!! People NEED WORK!!! Yho!”

“Such bylaws needs to be revised, where are you expecting that person to advertise vele?”
