- A British tattoo addict may have just broken a record with his bizarre body modification
- The 27-year-old reportedly tattooed his whole body black including his eyeballs and mouth
- What is even more bizarre is the fact that he wants to cover his whole body black before adding white over it
Identified simply as Eli Ink, the 27-year-old tattoo artist has become the talk of the town with his newly created identity. The body modification artist reveals that he sees his body as a walking exhibition of one of his finest work.
Eli Ink reportedly spent the last 10 years carrying out these modifications on his body which he considers art. He tattooed most of his skin black with several coats of ink, dyed his eyes and had implants of stretchers in his nose and under his bottom lip.
According to Eli who lives in Brighton, England, his obsession with this bizarre body art started when he was only a kid. His uncle had returned fro Spain with a huge tribal mark and that was the beginning of his journey into the ink world.
In an interview with Mail Online, he had this to say: "In my opinion, the only person who will only ever understand my transition properly is me. I don’t attempt to describe it to anyone. I’ve always been blown away by art itself. Picasso is a huge childhood inspiration to me, especially abstract art, but I do like all forms of art. Body art was just the next local step for me growing up."
According to Eli, he aimed to look like an abstract character in one of Picasso’s paintings due to his love for the abstract look, no thought , just pure expression.
He further revealed: "I will never be finished. It will take me the rest of my life to finish my studies but I am dedicating the rest of my life to body modification and perfecting my work."
Dating doesn't seem to pose a challenge as he has a girlfriend named Holly, who is also part of the body-modification scene and they are madly in love.
