The series tells of a tale of a black-hearted king who anxiously waits to meet his match. A rebellion is looming, and a dark prophecy is pronounced. A child, born during the rising of the dark moon, will bring an end to his life. The king loses himself in efforts to do anything to inhibit the fulfilment of the fore-telling.
Riona teasers January 2021
In efforts to prevent the foretold message from being fulfilled, he massacres children believing that one of them could be the one spoken off in the prophecy. There is great mourning in the land of Oyomere, but that night two children survived. Here are the details on the new episodes that will air in the first week.
Friday, 22nd January 2021 (Episode 1)
A dark dream foretells a dark future ahead. Two lovers thwarted by a malign star struggle to find each in the path of fulfilling their destiny.

There is a rebellion lurking. Aso is charged with treason. King Ofotokun resolves to something frightful.
Sunday, 24th January 2021 (Episode 3)
Ofor takes a stand against the King's decision. Akwaugo figures out that she was sold a fairy tale. The King's death seems to be looming closer and closer.
Monday, 25th January 2021 (Episode 4)
Tofe tries to persuade King Ofotokun to yield to the deities' will. There is mourning in the house of the Ibiedos for Dewa. Jolomi gets his family implicated.
Tuesday, 26th January 2021 (Episode 5)
Ofor rejects the idea of being part of the sacrifice. Aso and Ebisan make plans to escape, will they come out alive? Jolomi comes to his senses and realises the repercussions of his assistance.
Wednesday, 27th January 2021 (Episode 6)
The dark moon has come; the land of Oyomere is enveloped by fear, tears, dread and death. The gods' will has become, and destiny has been delayed; nonetheless, it has not been denied.

Thursday, 28th January 2021 (Episode 7)
Amaju and Misan discover something heartbreaking. Tofe puts away her child from the sight of the Queens. The land is in mourning.
Friday, 29th January 2021 (Episode 8)
The King of the land seeks Tofe's consent. Here comes the return of Arenyeka. Ofor tries to make Ogbemi not to feel depressed.
Saturday, 30th January 2021 (Episode 9)
Ignorance has a price and Idolor pays it dearly after ignoring the orders of the King. The die is cast for the fate of Jolomi.
Sunday, 31st January 2021 (Episode 10)
Ofor gets a taste of the extent of Ofotokun's reign of terror. Tofe and Roli carry on with the plan to fool King Ofotokun. For the first time, the King sees his son.

He is a wicked king who would not spare life for the sake of reason. If you cross him, there will be dire consequences. Two children are born in the night of the dark moon's rising and one of them, if not the both of them will be his doom. He tries to hinder a dark prophecy from being fulfilled, but an uncertain future still awaits him.
Tofe
Who is Tofe in the eyes of the King that he seeks for her approval? She bares a child but immediately hides the baby so that the Queen does not know of its existence. She and Roli are plotting to deceive the King, and they proceed to carry out the plan.
The Riona teasers for January 2021 are just a little glimpse of what to expect from the show. Riona makes its premiere on Novela Magic on Friday, 22nd January. The show will be airing from Monday through to Sunday at 8:30 pm.
