Pretoria-based DJ Given Littleman decided that he would do something different for his 22nd birthday. The popular local radio personality decided he would have a birthday bash and invite less fortunate children.
DJ Littleman said he felt the need to help those less fortunate than himself this year and the idea grew from there.
DJ Littleman is well-known in the Pretoria area, he has his own show on Tshwane FM and is firm club favourite throughout the city.
Briefly.co.za discovered that DJ Littleman decided to invite children from the Indaba Zosindiso orphanage in Elandspoort to his birthday party.
He said instead of inviting friends and family to his birthday party this year he decided to bring some much-needed joy to the lives of less fortunate children.
DJ Littleman said after the party that the smiles and obvious joy on the faces of the children was more than enough reward for him. He added that his goal for 2018 was to make as many people smile as he could.
He said his mother was his inspiration for trying to make a difference. “My mother always helps people around my community and goes out of her way to help wherever she can. That motivated me to do something for others for a change,” he said.
