The SA Music Awards (SAMAs) have responded to criticism from Cassper Nyovest. The rapper claimed that the awards organization was corrupt.

In a statement shared with TshisaLive, the Samas slammed Cassper’s claims.

SAMAs spokesperson Lesley Mofokeng told the publication that their judging systems were proven to be “resilient and with integrity.”

He went on to say that the awards were still relevant and received a lot of entries.

The spokesperson denies the allegations of corruption and urged those who have any evidence of such crimes to come forward.
