It's no secret that Somizi Mhlongo loves cooking and now he might have started a rumour that he is about to open a restaurant. 2020 was a very good year for Somizi when it came to his culinary dreams.

Taking to Instagram, Somizi posted about his achievements in the last few months. It also looked as if he had moved on to his new project, possibly a restaurant.

“Next level. From TV show, to cookbook, to jet, to yachts, to restaurants. Your dreams should scare you. Ain’t no stopping me now, I'm a child of God. The son of my ancestors. If doesn’t kill you, it should make you richer,” said Somizi.

The post showed off some restaurant seating concepts, as well as cutlery and crockery laid out on beautiful luxury tables.

Somizi had a show called Dinner At Somizi's earlier in 2020 where he got the chance to showcase his skills in the kitchen. Later on that year, he published a cookbook titled Dinner At Somizi's - I'm Not a Chef.

The book reached great heights and became the number one selling book in Food & Beverage chart in South Africa. Somizi has shown that a simple hobby has the opportunity to make your dreams come true.

Briefly.co.za previously reported that Somizi has found the bag of his dreams, only problem is it costs R300k. Somizi has found another expensive toy that he would love to have but would have to break the bank to buy it.

He shared a video on Instagram of an amazing Luis Vuitton bag which lights up and appears to play music. The celebrity is known for his desire for the finer things in life, revealed that the bag cost an astounding $20 000 which is around R300 000.
