A young woman, Nokubongwa Mapo Sgegede shared a heartwarming post inside Facebook's ImStaying about making the tough decision to leave her one-day-old baby to start work. She also shares that she has to walk to work and after two men realised this, they started walking with her out of safety concerns. She also mentions that a kind old lady offered to watch her little one while she is at work.

"Last week I was invited to an interview just 2 days after giving birth. I only had R10 to my name, I had two options to either stay at home to enjoy my newborn or hustle money to go to my interview, I went to my interview and passed started working on Friday.
"I've been leaving the house at 06:30 and returning at 19:00 since Friday as I walk for a little over an hour to my workplace, Saturday 2 gentlemen who work at a nearby factory took it upon themselves to walk me halfway home.

"They have promised to walk me halfway every day until I get paid. #im staying because of James and Thapelo who want to ensure my safety even though I'm a stranger #im staying also because of gogo who stays opposite who took it upon herself to offer to look after my newborn daughter while I go work for her," she wrote.

Her post included a nice picture of herself and the kind man whose name she did not mention. She did however say that he had taken her to Frankford which was a whole 27 miles away from where she was left stranded.

"Masks were removed only for the photo... This guy took us to Frankford which is 27km from where we were stranded, failed by a train without thinking twice. Our lives were in danger as there was no road coming to the point. Bcos of this Beautiful soul I'm Staying," she wrote with a heart full of gratefulness.
