Halala: Lunga Shabalala bags new acting role in 'Legacy' telenovela

Mzansi actor and model Lunga Shabalala has shown over the years that he's a good performer on screen. The hunk has been added to the cast of Legacy, which airs on M-Net at 7pm from Monday to Thursday.

Lunga made his claim to fame in acting when he starred in The River. After his character Lindani died he had to move on to something else, which is Legacy.

Lunga is going to be the son of Msizi on the show. Msizi is portrayed by former Isibaya actor Siyabonga Twala.

Legacy is a telenovela loved by a number of people in Mzansi and some can't wait to see how Lunga is going to do in his new role. Others however are not too sure about the casting.

Mzansi television fans reacted to the news reported by entertainment blogger Phil Mphela on Twitter.

Briefly.co.za previously reported that Lunga Shabalala celebrated 10 years in the entertainment industry. South African actor, television presenter and model Lunga Shabalala is celebrating being in the entertainment industry for 10 years.

Lunga has been on Mzansi screens for a while now but it might be hard to believe that he's been doing it for a whole decade. Lunga's rise to fame started when he was the presenter of the show Selimatunzi on SABC 1.

His first job on television was when he did an advertisement for Coca-Cola.
