Sometimes our egos are way better off when we decide not to share things on social media, because boy can they break you down. A young SA lady recently got a taste of this after she shared a picture of the food she prepared online.

In the picture of the post that was made by @_TlhogyM, the young lady prepared some dumplings (dombolo or jexe) in the shape of a muffin with some crispy fried fish on the side. Admittedly, a sauce of some kind was definitely missing.

"When I cook I make sure," she confidently captioned the Twitter post.

Mzansi wasted no time in roasting the homemade meal in the comment section. Many of them remarked that the plate looked quite dry while others laughed at the shape of the dombolo. Read a few of their comments below:
