"On behalf of Bhengu tribe, we are sad that you walked on the Shongololo."

@meltsieb shared:

"Maybe attracted by the aromas of your home-cooking? Die arme bra was net honger."

@DuchessOfSanton tweeted:

"Bathong is this not disrespectful to the dead? Have the next of kin been informed before you paraded the identity of the deceased? RIP Shongololo. Given the cause of death the decent thing to do is to grant it a State Funeral."

@MRNice_ZA responded with:

"Wait until Tito cooks the poor insect."

@pmcafrica added:

"One clove of garlic."

Briefly.co.za previously reported on the minister after he shared another home-cooked meal. Once again he shared his unique take on a local delicacy, mopane worms. The minister doused his meal in tomatoes, onions and garlic cloves.

South Africans are roasting him more than he roasted the worms. From the frying pan to the dinner table, Tito served up a decent meal for himself but he was definitely not safe from the SA Twitter savagery.
