In other news, Briefly.co.za reported that Beyoncé has lent her support to the victims of the fatal Texas winter storm. The US songstress announced on Friday, 19 February that her BeyGood Foundation has teamed up with Adidas and Bread of Life to assist those affected by the storm.

They are giving up to $1 000 (R14 639) to people who have been affected financially due to the storm, which has left Beyoncé's fellow Texans without food, power or water. CBS News reports that the winter storm has claimed the lives of at least 34 people, 20 of whom are Texans.

Twitter users have shared mixed reactions to the Beyoncé's good deed. A tweep @imtoomuchnigga wrote:

"Did I just read that Beyoncé is offering urgent relief to everyone affected by the winter storm in Texas and any other state? WOW! The government is down bad."
