Even after 18 years together as a married couple, Basetsana and Romeo Kumalo are as much the love goals of everyone that the popular couple in Varsity is to be to all the freshers.
Briefly.co.za learned that in celebration of Romeo’s birthday recently, Bassie, as she is affectionately known, poured out her heart to explain just how much she loves the man who has stood by her side, and ruled her heart for almost two decades.
"Your steadfast love is one of my greatest blessings, I honestly fall in love with you every time I watch how you love your kids, protect them, teach them, provide for them, hug them, read to them, move the world for them and be a present father. Thank you for all that you do for us," she veritably gushed adding that if she had to live her whole life over again, she’d choose him again in a heartbeat.
While the couple value their privacy, and jealously guard their personal time, these sort of public displays of affection are exactly the sort of thing that makes them so popular with South African followers and fans.
"You my love, are one remarkable man that I am blessed to call my husband and father of my children. If I had to choose my lifetime partner and soulmate all over again, I would choose you in a heartbeat. I love you to infinity," said Bassie to her soulmate choosing just the right words to have everyone going “Awww!” as only South Africans do.
Romeo also showed he is one for romantic expressions with the above instagram post for their last wedding anniversary.
