- On Sunday Malema gave his speech for the launch of the EFF's election registration campaign.

- Malema stated that Trollips removal is payback for the DA going against them in the expropriation of land without compensatin motion.
Julius Malema wants Athol Trollip out as the mayor of the Nelson Mandela Bay Metro because he is white. He ranted over PE being a white man’s land.
“Why not Mashaba? Why not Solly and all of that? Because the mayor of DA in PE is a white man‚”
“Not because Mashaba and Solly will not be touched. They will be touched‚ don’t worry‚ but we are starting with this whiteness.”
He was giving his speech on Sunday at the Standard Bank Arena in Johannesburg for the launch of the party’s election registration campaign.
“We don’t care about white feelings. Trollip deserves nothing from us. We don’t hate white people‚ we just love black people.”
The EFF and the DA have recently started to sever ties due their difference in opinion over the expropriation of land without compensation.
President Cyril Ramaphosa announced on February 16 in his state of the nation address that government would accelerate its land redistribution program.
A motion to amend section 25 of the Constitution‚ in favor of the expropriation of land without compensation proposition was passed by a majority vote in the National Assembly on February 27, even though it was a motion by the EFF.
The DA has refused to support the motion and in turn the EFF stated that they would punish the party, starting with the removal of Trollip.
Malema described the DA as a “typical bully” and said that the EFF would not be friends with parties like that.
“We are folding our arms. We have never been friends”
“When we implement that decision it is not because we trust the ANC. We don’t trust the ANC‚ because the ANC and the DA are the same. The other one is racist‚ the other one is corrupt. Same WhatsApp group.”
Malema stated that no single political party is able to claim ownership of metros where the DA and the EFF were in a coalition‚ as no individual party had won outright majority in any of these metros.
