Too hot to handle: South African dancer banned from entering Zambia

Zodwa Wabantu has been banned from entering Zambia due to her potentially "corrupting public morals”.

National Guidance and Religious Affairs Minister Godfridah Sumaili said that the government would not allow Zodwa to “strut her stuff anywhere in the country”.

"It is clear we are a Christian nation and we uphold the values of morality and ethics… as a nation, we cannot allow such. I mean, someone performing without underwear, there's no morality there," she was quoted as saying.

Briefly.co.za discovered that Zodwa is well known in South Africa her seductive dancing and predisposition to not wearing panties according to msn.com.

The decision to ban the dancer has caused a public outcry and debate among the people. Actor and comedian, Owas Mwape, said that the move could have a negative impact on the entertainment industry.

Singer and radio personality Emmanuel Nyoni said that the government's decision was hypocritical.
