Worth his salt: Mahlomola “Seeizy” Seihleko's amazing salt art

A Lesotho artist, Mahlomola “Seeizy” Seihleko, has begun to attract a small measure of fame for his amazing works of art created entirely out of salt.

One of his earlier artworks featured the local and internationally recognised DJ Black Coffee. The 23-year-old IT student created a portrait of the DJ.

Briefly.co.za has discovered that since then he has created a picture of Cassper Nyovest and his latest work of art features a Jordan FireWire.

His first creation was that of Albert Einstein because he considers himself a big dreamer. Watching Seihleko work is mesmerising as he manipulates the salt into various patterns.

Out of these patterns, amazing artworks emerge.

He even gave the latest blockbuster, Black Panther, some love.
