Soweto soccer fans flocked to the FNB Stadium on Saturday for the derby game between Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs.
The fixture is one of the biggest on the PSL calendar and brings together loyal and passionate supporters for both sides.
This year about 75 000 fans attended the pulsating match which saw Pirates fans leaving the stadium happy after their side won 3-1.
Briefly.co.za discovered that one Chiefs fan was so distraught by his team’s performance that he could be seen crying like a baby while the game was being played.
The loyal fan is obviously distraught and those fans around him are taken aback by the extent of his emotions.
Orlando Pirates are now only three points away from log leaders Mamelodi Sundowns.
Chiefs were behind from pretty much the start, although they did draw level at 1-1 after 29 minutes, unfortunately for Chief’s fans, Pirates managed two more goals and never looked like losing the game.
