Ramaphosa rallies the youth to vote

President Cyril Ramaphosa is urging all young people to vote if they are eligible to do so. He is stressing the importance of the influence of our youth and their responsibility to vote.

He urged the youth of South Africa to make their mark and direct change in the way that they wish to see their future.

Ramaphosa stated that districts will be open to assist new voters and that Home Affairs offices will be open on both Saturday and Sunday to accommodate anyone who needs to collect their identification document in order to register to vote.

“If you are 17-years-old and above or will be voting for the first time [next year], go and register. If you have moved from one place to another, go and register as well. If you have moved from one part of your township, suburb or rural area, go and register”
